3 Celebrity-Inspired Ways to Wear Statement Boots

Spread the love

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Olivia Culpo, Hilary Duff, and Emily Ratajkowski. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Celebrity Look #1: Olivia Culpo’s  Leggy Luxe

Olivia Culpo turned heads in a fashion-forward outfit that gave me major Serena van der Woodsen vibes (if Gossip Girl was still on TV!).

Olivia flaunted her legs in some checked print high-waisted shorts paired with a cream colored cropped sweater. She wore a brown Fendi fur jacket over top, and some ultra stylish burgundy colored knee-high boots.

Products: Sweater – Pretty Little Thing, Shorts – Zara, Coat – Boohoo, Sunglasses – Forever 21, Boots – Target

This trendy outfit is for the gals who aren’t afraid to commit to a LEWK.

Go for the unexpected yet stylish combo of printed high-rise shorts with some chic burgundy knee-high boots. If it’s too cold out, you can also wear tights!

Take a cue from Olivia and wear a cream colored cropped sweater and brown faux fur coat over top. Though all the pieces of this outfit are different colors, the hues are very complementary to each other.

Accessorize with some rectangular cat-eye sunglasses for a final touch of cool.

Celebrity Look #2: Hilary Duff’s Casual Cool

Hilary Duff has been killing the street style game lately, consistently nailing cool, casual looks.

This past week, Hilary wore a pair of trendy white ankle booties with black skinny jeans and a brown turtleneck sweater. She accessorized her chic yet laid-back outfit with a pair of dark oversized sunnies.

Products: Sweater – Express, Jeans – H&M, Sunglasses – Forever 21, Booties – Lulu’s, Backpack – Macy’s

Hilary’s outfit is casual, but white ankle booties give it some major trend appeal.

To get her look, pair black skinny jeans with a brown mock neck sweater or turtleneck. The hue of this particular knit is close to Hilary’s, and matches the adorable quilted mini backpack with a gold chainlink detail.

Complete the ensemble with some black oversized sunglasses

Celebrity Look #3: Emily Ratajkowski’s Sexy Sleek

Emily Ratajkowski looked sleek and sexy in an all-black ensemble which spotlighted her snake print mid-calf boots.

Emily wore her trendy statement boots with black skinny jeans, a plunging black top, and a black blazer over top. She also accessorized with gold jewelry, a black and gold belt, and a mini handbag with gold hardware.

Emily’s ensemble is perfect for a night out on the town.

In order to give your statement boots the spotlight, consider wearing a monochromatic look like Emily to make them really stand out; in this case, some trendy snake print mid-calf booties.

Wear black skinny jeans with a black V-front bodysuit and a straight-cut blazer over top, to give the outfit a sleek look.

Accessorize with black and gold accessories like a belt and a mini top-handle bag.
