We’re channeling their luxe look … for less!

One of the best ways to up your fashion game is to play with texture, and retailer Anthropologie shows us how it’s done with their October 2017 lookbook. Velvet, cozy knits, lace, and more make multiple appearances, and the results are pure style eye candy.

And while I love me some Anthro, they can be pretty pricey. (Hello, gorgeous $658 dress that is sadly way over my budget.) So, we decided to create less expensive versions of outfits from that lookbook. Scroll down to see all three fall outfits!

1. Fluffy Cardigan + Delicate Cami

Anthropologie

There’s nothing basic about this casual outfit. Pair a satin-like cami with cropped, frayed jeans and a dusky pink, fluffy cardigan. (This Urban Outfitters pick costs $100 less than Anthro’s looped cardi!)  Finish the look with faux suede loafers and beaded hoops.

2. Velvet + Floral

Anthropologie

Velvet is autumn’s biggest trend, and we love how Anthropologie paired this plush fabric with dark florals. Mimic that vibe in a velvet jumpsuit, then throw a boyfriend-style blazer over top.

The accessories definitely make the outfit here. A wide-brim felt hat and slip-on mules provide even more eye-catching texture, while layered necklaces add just the right amount of shine.

3. Knit Sweater + Lace Skirt

This final ensemble is pretty much the ideal blend of cozy and classy. Just like Anthro’s look, we went for a cable knit sweater/lacy pencil skirt combo, but opted for a more muted, fall-like palette. Pair with embroidered pumps, then add an extra dose of fun with tassel earrings.
