How to wear one of the most fabulous pieces of the season.

The “Fabulous Find of the Week” column gives you the heads up on all the hottest, most affordable items at your favorite stores!

Happy April everyone! I always find my college campus to be so beautiful this time of year. The flowers, are blooming, everyone is studying and hanging out outside, it’s an amazing time of year!

To celebrate this special time of year, this week’s Fabulous Find is an item that will soon become a favorite in your wardrobe. With that I present… these amazing Uniqlo belted shorts! They’re stylish, incredibly comfortable, and the bow comes on and off so you can style them however you please. Right now they’re selling for $29.99, so they’re a decent deal on some shorts you’ll wear all summer long.

These shorts are casual but also sophisticated and very pretty. While my outfits are based on the navy shorts, I would also like to point out that they come in orange, natural and olive as well! Now let’s get to styling:

Navy Shorts Outfit 1: Pink and Navy Casual…

Products: T-Shirt – J.Crew, Cardigan – M&Co, Sneakers – Vans (Kohl’s), Tote Bag – Miss Selfridge, Eyeshadow – Elizabeth Arden (Macy’s), Shorts – Uniqlo, Sunglasses – Vince Camuto (Nordstrom Rack)

This is the perfect outfit for going to class. It’s super comfy yet also fashionable.

One of my favorite pieces in this look has to be the tote bag. Miss Selfridge’s items are always such high quality and of course, pretty! This tote is reversible, on one side it’s pink and on the other it’s silver. This means that you can use it for a variety of occasions Not to mention it comes with a wallet attached inside. It’s the complete package!

I also adore the J.Crew t-shirt. It has a sweet message and the color goes perfectly with the eyeshadow, sneakers and sunglasses. It’ll be a great addition to your closet. The light, soft pink provides a great contrast to the navy blue shorts and cardigan which are beautiful and classic.

Navy Shorts Outfit 2: Pops of Prep

Products: Backpack – Kenneth Cole (Century 21), Lipstick – Lipstick Queen (Net-A-Porter),  Sandals – V by Very, Blouse – Uniqlo, Perfume – Ormonde Jayne (Lucky Scent), Shorts – Uniqlo, Watch – Crayo (Jomashop), Sunglasses – Steve Madden (Zappos)

This outfit is perfect for grabbing lunch with friends on campus. I am in love with the shade of hot pink. It’s so springy and playful, and looks amazing with navy for a preppy look. The top, another stunning piece from uniqlo, is light and airy so you won’t get too hot walking between classes. It goes perfectly with the sandals which have a stunning design.

The backpack is stylish but also perfect for carrying your books around. It matches with the shorts and sunglasses. This outfit truly works for everything you might be doing on campus. Whether you are going to class, grabbing lunch, or running errands, it’ll keep you cool and comfortable even as hotter days begin to arrive.

Navy Shorts Outfit 3: Yellow Daisies

Products: Handbag – Dasein (Ebags), Shorts – Uniqlo, Espadrilles – Saks Fifth Avenue (Gilt), Sunglasses – Steve Madden (Zappos), Top – Amazon, Watch – Crown & Ivy (Belk)

This outfit is the definition of Spring! It’s perfect for hanging out on the university green or just spending time with friends. I adore the daisy top. It is gorgeous — casual yet still fashionable. The yellow detailing matches so well with the espadrilles, handbag, and sunglasses.

I can’t emphasize how much I adore these shorts. They are so comfortable and no matter how busy your day is on campus, they’ll keep you pretty and fabulous.
