A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

New Year’s Eve is probably the only time it’s totally acceptable for us (who aren’t celebrities) to go over-the-top with our outfits and dress up in all that glitters and sparkles.

It’s been my mission this past year writing for CF to come up with three outfits on a college-friendly budget of under $100, and that is exactly what I’ve done in this, my final post — 3 fun and glam looks for a New Year’s Eve party. Hope this inspires you to dress up and celebrate the upcoming year in style!

New Year’s Eve Outfit 1 – $97.99

Products: Coat – Charlotte Russe, Dress – H&M, Shoes – Charlotte Russe, Earrings – Topshop

For this first New Year’s Eve outfit, I picked out a glittery black velour dress and paired it with a faux-fur coat (at $20, it’s a steal!). I added some gorgeous rhinestone and tassel earrings and embellished heels to complete the look. You’ll look fancy and chic in this combination.

New Year’s Eve Outfit 2 – $89.39

Products: Romper – Forever 21, Blazer – H&M, Shoes – Charlotte Russe, Earrings – ASOS

Next, I paired a sequined romper with a long black blazer for a chic and stylish look, then accessorized with black tassel earrings and platform heels. This outfit is a little more daring than the first — perfect if you’re heading to a club or bar where you’ll be expected to step up your look.

New Year’s Eve Outfit 3 – $97.70

Products: Top – H&M, Skirt – H&M, Shoes – Forever 21, Necklace – Target, Earrings – Topshop

Finally, I styled a black turtleneck top with a faux-suede skirt for a more comfortable New Year’s Eve outfit, but to keep it fun, I paired the ensemble with metallic, over-the-knee sock boots. As for accessories, I kept it simple and classy with pearl earrings and crystal studs.

What Do You Think?

Let me know in the comments below which outfit is your favorite! Sadly, this wraps up my time with College Fashion; it’s been fun writing for CF, and I highly recommend it to those of you interested in fashion, style and writing! Best wishes to all of you in the new year; it’s been real!
