They may be leaving the White House soon, but their best looks are here to stay.

Malia, Sasha, and Michelle Obama

As we gear up for a final goodbye from the Obamas and their 8-year legacy on January 20 (the day they leave the White House for an upscale D.C. brick house two miles away), we also take a moment to reflect on the First Lady and her daughters’ best Insta-worthy style moments.

Note: Though we’re only tackling on Malia and Sasha’s looks this article, stay tuned for the next, where Michelle’s elegant wardrobe gets revamped for a younger college audience!

Malia – Look #1

Products: Dress – Bloomingdale’s | Boot – DSW | Tight – Spanx | Choker – ASOS | Clutch – Nordstrom | Earring – JCPenney

Throughout her time in the White House, we’ve watched the eldest Obama daughter grow from cute preteen to sophisticated adult. Her style only seems to be getting better and better!

While there’s been a lot of great outfits throughout the years, my personal favorite is the colorblock black-and-white dress she wore for the president’s 2017 farewell address. Paired with tights, black boots, and a thin choker, the dress made our first First daughter out to perfection.

Malia – Look #2

Products: Sweater – The Harvard Shop | Pant – American Eagle | Coat – Belk | Bracelet – JCPenney | Shoe – Keds | Bag – Target

Of course, now that Malia is moving out of the White House and into college, we’re guessing that her daily looks will consist of a lot less Gucci and a little more Harvard Class of 2021-emblazoned attire. (Which is great, because we just so happen to be into the school pride look too!)

For a more casual take on Malia’s White House wardrobe, try experimenting with school colors and minimalist clothing. If you can find a university-themed jumper, wear it out; if not, any two contrasting colors will do.

Sasha – Look #1

Products: Dress – Modcloth | Backpack – Nordstrom | Coat – JCPenney | Flat – Kohls | Watch – Macy’s | Bracelet –  JCPenney

Natasha, better known as Sasha, still needs to finish up high school, but she’s already so much more well dressed and confident in her sartorial abilities than most college students I know.

To imitate Sasha’s relaxed and preppy style, opt for an fit-and-flare dress with floral patterns. Accessorize with delicate gold accessories and nude flats, and you’ll be emulating this second First daughter’s fashion!

Sasha – Look #2

Products: Sweater – Topshop | Skirt – Macy’s | Tight – Nordstrom | Backpack – Nordstrom | Sunglasses – Modcloth | Flat – Kohls | Earring – Dillard’s

Or, you may want to copy Sasha’s adorable geek chic look.

With word out that the youngest Obama did not attend her father’s recent farewell address because of an early exam the next day, we find ourselves fresh out of excuses for our own school duties, and excited to replicate her own study-loving looks. Now, we may not all have her retro horn-rimmed glasses, but we can certainly copy her rad street (or shall we say speech?) style.
