AKA this season’s “it” shoe.
For the past couple of seasons, mules have seen a huge resurgence in the fashion world. And, although they were once relegated to the realm of frumpy old lady shoes, mules have recently been spotted on the feet of some of fashion’s hottest trendsetters, proving that granny-chic is hotter than ever.
However, with so many styles of mules to choose from–ranging from casual to boho to feminine–you may be wondering how to integrate this fun trend into your wardrobe.
Well, have no fear, because I’m here to show you three chic and easy outfits that incorporate mules, along with tips on how to style these of-the-moment shoes; just keep scrolling to see them all!
Mules Outfit #1

This relaxed look is perfect for Spring, not only because it is so easy to just throw on and go, but also because it incorporates multiple trends in a subtle and fresh way that doesn’t scream “fashion victim.”
To start, put on a striped Gen Z Yellow blouse with a cute front-tie detail. Next, add some wide-legged jeans with a subtly frayed hem and cropped length — all the better to show off these simple yet versatile mules whose neutral color, classic style, and under-$30 price tag make them a great option for anyone who is a little apprehensive about trying the trend.
Small cat-eye sunglasses are also a huge trend this season, so put on a chic pair of bright white ones that will pop against any skin tone.
Artsy jewelry, like these tassel earrings and cuff bracelet, add just the right amount of quirkiness to the look.

With just the right mix of casual and boho, this comfortable and laid-back look is a great option for wearing to class as the weather starts to warm up.
To get it, first put on a breezy off-the-shoulder top. Next, add a pair of feminine and flattering embroidered denim shorts and some denim mules, which offer up a whole new way to wear the denim-on-denim trend without going over the top.
Off-the-shoulder tops are perfect for showing off pretty necklaces, so layer on these delicate star and turquoise necklaces for just the right amount of sparkle.
Keep the rest of your jewelry low-key by putting on blue pavé stud earrings and a set of three gold beaded bracelets that would also look cool stacked with other bracelets if you’re in the mood to add an extra touch of glam.

Woven bags are still going strong, so pick one up in an of-the-moment round shape.
As for jewelry, continue the romantic-yet-fun vibe by putting on a pair of unique zig-zag hoop earrings, a lovely rose necklace (I happen to own this exact piece, and it looks so pretty either on its own or layered with other necklaces), a set of tastefully mismatched stacking rings, and a chic cuff bracelet.
Finally, throw on a light-wash denim jacket for that casual-meets-dressy look, and you’ve got yourself a gorgeous look that you’ll want to wear all season long!
