Who or what inspires your style? “I always look on Pinterest for new styles before going shopping. But what has the most influence is my mood and the music I’m listening to in the moment I get dressed.”
Where do you like to shop? “My favorites are by far Pull&Bear, H&M, Zara, and Kult. But I also regularly scout small boutiques in the city and love to discover new clothing lines.“
How would you describe your sense of style? “The perfect balance between classy and crazy.“
Why did you choose this particular outfit? “I just bought this rather eccentric sweater and wanted something simple to compliment it without looking like a complete lunatic.“
What fashion advice would you give to other students looking to improve their style? “Just go for it! If you wear it with confidence, it will definitely look good on you.“
What are your favorite trends right now? “Boots are everything this winter! Especially big chunky ones with high [platforms.] I also enjoy the sleek grunge style trending right now.“
Do you have any favorite fashion designers? If so who? “I’m just a mathematics student so I do not know much about high fashion – but I always had a thing for Moschino. Their clothes are to die for!“
Do you have any unique hobbies or interests? “As weird as it sounds, I really enjoy making origami. It’s the perfect compensation to my stressful day at University. I also collect coffee mugs from all over Europe. At the moment I already have over twenty of them.“
If you could raid anyone´s closet, who would it be and why? “Hands down Yolandi Visser‘s closet. Her style is so much fun and she is never afraid of going full out on colors. I would love to wear [a pair] of her metallic pants.“
