Let’s Talk Fashion
Who or what inspires your style? “I love Lucy Hale, Selena Gomez, and Violet from American Horror Story.”
Where do you like to shop? “My go-to is Forever 21 but I also shop at Tilly’s and American Eagle. But my favorite has to be thrift shopping. It’s cheap and you can always find a hidden treasure.”
How would you describe your sense of style? “I’m pretty simple. I love anything casual or athleisure and dress mostly in neutral colors. I like to add a touch of edginess to any outfit.”
Why did you choose this particular outfit? “This outfit is my go-to. It’s extremely comfortable, basic, and I feel confident in it. I can wear it to class and for a night out. It’s great!”
What fashion advice would you give to other students looking to improve their style? “Wear what you love. Don’t be afraid to try something new.”
What are your favorite trends right now? “The resurgence of grunge and monochromatic styles [are my favorite trends]. My favorite accessories are chokers and hoop earrings.”
Do you have any favorite fashion designers? If so, who? “I don’t have a favorite designer. I find inspiration from so many. There is not one in particular that stands out.”
What do you do for fun? Do you have any unique hobbies or interests? “I’m really into hot yoga. It’s my favorite workout. I also love being outdoors and exploring.”
If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be and why? “I would pick Selena Gomez. She has always been an idol to me and I love her sense of style. She is the perfect amount of edgy and girly.”
