3 Cozy Autumn Looks Inspired by K-Pop

Let K-Pop inspire your outfits this week.

Minah, a member of the popular K-pop girl group Girl’s Day, displayed her talent as a singer-songwriter in her new solo album, Other Way, with her single, “11° (Eleven Degrees)”, a melancholy acoustic song about missing an ex-lover.

The music video featured Minah in her own home, and I was inspired by the interior design, the colors, and the rueful mood of the song and decided to re-create 3 cozy outfits for fall based on the music video. 

Look 1

Products: Dress – ASOS, Cardigan – Madewell, Shoes – Target, Lip Balm – Forever 21

For this outfit, I was inspired by the colors in the living room scene. I wanted the look to be as simple and casual as possible, something that could be worn both indoors and out. So I paired a leaf-print dress with a chunky brown cardigan. Because Minah barely wears any makeup and jewelry, I decided to keep the look minimal and natural with clean canvas sneakers and a flower lip balm. 

Look 2

This next outfit is a replica of what Minah is wearing in this scene. I paired a burgundy turtleneck sweater with black mom jeans, then added a long checkered overcoat, black booties, and a structured faux-leather bag for a retro look.  

Look 3

This final outfit is an elevated lounge look based on the couch scene. I put together a fuzzy sweater and wide-cut khaki green pants, then styled it with a woven fringe poncho and embroidered mules for an eclectic, comfy look.
