Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, and Mandy Moore. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Blake Lively’s Preppy with a Twist
Style star Blake Lively attended an event in Toronto dressed in a chic ensemble that was classically preppy with a twist.
Blake wore an oversized navy coat over a white blouse and some cropped skinny jeans. Her jeans featured a step-hem – cut shorter in the front and longer in the back, with a raw edge – in a nod to one of the season’s hottest trends. This detail gave her polished outfit a slightly more laid-back feel. She finished with bold footwear, namely some leopard print flats with white, fringe-like tops.
Blake’s eye-catching shoes and unique jeans make her otherwise basic outfit stand out. She proves that with a few special pieces, you can make any ensemble look fashion-forward. Additionally, her look is perfect for the winter-to-spring transition.

Blake’s look is polished while still being youthful thanks to the fun print on her flats and the trendy step-hem detail on her jeans. These high-rise step-hem jeans are perfect dupes for Blake’s, and the shorter, frayed hems will showcase a pair of leopard print loafers. These ones feature tassel detailing that can replace the fringe detail on Blake’s.
The rest of the ensemble is made up of classic pieces that are great wardrobe investments, namely a cream button-down blouse and a long navy coat with a lapel and a slightly boxy fit. Complete the look with a neutral colored tote bag, which is chic yet functional.
Look 2: Gigi Hadid’s Edgy Crops
Gigi Hadid rocked an edgy look while out and about in Paris, featuring cropped jeans and a cropped sweater. Gigi’s denim featured seams running down the front for a unique look, and she accessorized with a black and silver studded belt and some oversized round glasses. For a final edgy touch, she wore some white and black combat boots.
Perhaps the coolest thing about Gigi’s look is how she styled her cropped knit, wearing a simple black tank top underneath, covering her stomach. This styling trick is especially great for making loose-fitting crop tops wearable during colder seasons.

Gigi’s ensemble is sure to help you stand out in a crowd since it features so many unique pieces. These cropped, high-waisted jeans have a frayed hem and seams running down the front, so they’re perfect dupes for Gigi’s. Wear them with a simple black tank or bodysuit tucked in, and then layer a cream or white cropped sweater over top.
Next, add bold accessories, like a studded faux leather belt with burnished studs and pearls and a pair of oversized round glasses. Complete the look with some neutral or black combat boots to add to the edgy vibe of the outfit.
Look 3: Mandy Moore’s Pops of Print & Color
This Is Us actress Mandy Moore was spotted in NYC getting in on the cropped jeans trend in a cute, casual look featuring pops of color and print.
Mandy wore a long gray coat over a pair of cropped straight-leg jeans with a white top, dark sunglasses, and a bright red handbag. Like Blake Lively, Mandy wore a pair of standout leopard print flats for a playful look, proving how awesome cropped denim is for showing off your footwear.

Mandy’s ensemble is easygoing but looks super put-together at the same time. Some light-wash, straight-leg cropped jeans like Mandy’s are ultra versatile and perfect for springtime. To get Mandy’s look, wear them with a white blouse, like this balloon sleeved t-shirt. Wear a chic, long gray wool coat over top to give the outfit structure, and throw in a bold pop of color with a red handbag.
We can’t forget the statement shoes! These backless leopard print loafers are perfect for re-creating Mandy’s look, though regular printed flats would work, too. Some dark, oversized sunnies complete the look.
