Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Hailee Steinfeld, Hilary Duff, & Chrissy Teigen

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Hailee Steinfeld, Hilary Duff, and Chrissy Teigen. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.
Look 1: Hailee Steinfeld’s Cool Athleisure
Singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld looked laid-back in a cool athleisure look while catching a flight. She rocked a classic pair of Adidas track pants with the three signature stripes, plus a black mock neck crop top and white high-top sneakers. She also wore some dark sunglasses and carried a functional black backpack.
While Hailee’s look is great for traveling, this comfy, athletic-inspired ensemble is also perfect for a chill day of hanging out with friends or doing school work.

Many celebs have been sporting track pants recently, proving they’re not just for the gym. This pair of Adidas track pants features the brand’s signature black and white stripes and tapered leg, making them more fitted and stylish than baggy sweats. There are many similar versions carried by other brands, too!
To get Hailee’s look, wear the pants with a black mock neck crop top, or a black fitted top depending on the occasion and your comfort level. Some white high-top sneakers will pop against the all black, while matching the white accents on the pants and adding to the comfy, easy-going feel of the outfit.
Since much of this look is about being laid-back, keep accessories to a minimum by just wearing dark sunglasses and carrying a functional backpack. Not only is this backpack great for carrying your belongings, but it features a trendy marble print that complements the outfit.
Look 2: Hilary Duff’s Casual Cute
Hilary Duff also did some traveling this week, wearing a cute, casual look that featured mixed prints. Hilary wore some super distressed jeans with a black and white striped sweater, oversized sunglasses, and leopard print flats for contrast. She also carried some fabulous Louis Vuitton luggage, which complemented her leopard flats.
Hilary’s look proves that bold prints can make a sweater, jeans, and flats combo look anything but basic.

A black and white striped sweater is a wardrobe essential that will never go out of style. This sweater features wider stripes like Hilary’s, plus an open back detail as a cute bonus. Wear it with a black bralette for added flair.
For Hilary’s casual yet trendy ensemble, pair the sweater with some ripped jeans and leopard print ballet flats. Patterned flats are one of my favorite ways to add a pop of color or print to an outfit, and are another example of a timeless wardrobe essential.
Complete the look with oversized sunglasses and a bag of your choice – while this one isn’t a Louis Vuitton, its brown and black color scheme complements the flats just as well.
Look 3: Chrissy Teigen’s Trendy Fall Look
Chrissy Teigen turned heads in NYC in a fashion-forward look featuring two of fall’s biggest trends: over-the-knee boots and a sweater dress. Chrissy paired her beige sweater dress with some velvet, olive-toned OTK boots with a high heel.
Since her dress and boot combination was so bold, she kept the rest of her look simple by wearing her hair pulled back in a chic ponytail and carried an understated clutch with a small gold detail. Chrissy’s look is awesome for a special night out on the town.

Sweater dresses are a big trend for the upcoming season, and for good reason: they are unique and a great way to incorporate some femininity into your fall or winter wardrobe. This bone-colored dress is a fabulous dupe for Chrissy’s. It also doesn’t have the high side slit, so it’s more wearable and less revealing than Chrissy’s. (Note that in colder months it can be worn with tights, too!)
Wear the dress with some over-the-knee boots in velvet or suede to emulate the mixed textures of Chrissy’s look. The boots I selected feature a shorter, chunkier heel than Chrissy’s, which makes them a bit more versatile, as they can be worn day or night. For a final touch, carry an understated clutch in a shade that complements the rest of the ensemble.
