Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Lucy Hale, Ashley Madekwe, & Olivia Holt

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Lucy Hale, Ashley Madekwe, and Olivia Holt. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Lucy Hale’s Fall Floral

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale was spotted grabbing coffee in L.A. in a pretty and put-together outfit. Lucy rocked some dark wash skinny jeans with a floral tie-front blouse in a deep red hue. She wore cognac colored ankle boots, bringing out the color of the flowers on her blouse, and accessorized with vintage-inspired sunglasses and a long, dainty gold pendant necklace. 

Lucy’s look can be worn day or night, since it’s a perfect balance of casual and cute. Additionally, its autumnal color scheme makes it ideal for the season.

This off-the-shoulder blouse features a fall floral print in a color scheme almost identical to Lucy’s blouse. While this top isn’t tie-front like Lucy’s top, its off-the-shoulder detail is right on trend and adds an eye-catching appeal. 

Pair the top with skinny jeans for a fall-perfect look. Play on the beige and brown tones in the floral print by wearing a cognac colored pair of booties, then accessorize with a long, delicate pendant necklace and some retro sunglasses.

Look 2: Ashley Madekwe’s Laid-Back Bomber Jacket Ensemble

Actress Ashley Madekwe was all smiles while attending a Halloween event in a fashionable yet laid-back look this past week. Ashley rocked a mauve satin bomber jacket over a plum colored top and some distressed, light-wash girlfriend jeans. She accessorized with a black choker, loafer flats with chain-link detailing, and a simple black crossbody bag. 

Ashley’s outfit is ultra-trendy, thanks to pieces like her choker and bomber jacket. That said, her basic jeans make it cool and relaxed, with an effortless feel.

Ashley’s outfit incorporates trendy, of-the-moment pieces without looking over-the-top. Some distressed, light-wash girlfriend jeans look laid back when paired with a plum-toned ribbed top and a mauve satin bomber jacket. The lighter hue of this bomber jacket gives it a more feminine vibe than a classic green or black bomber, and makes it a bit more unique.

Get Ashley’s outfit by accessorizing with a black choker necklace, a simple black crossbody bag, and a pair of loafer flats with a chain-link detail. There you have it: Trendy meets relaxed!

Look 3: Olivia Holt’s Trendy Overalls Look

Actress Olivia Holt took in the sights at Disneyland in an ensemble that balanced comfort and trendiness. Olivia wore some cropped black denim overalls in a super stylish way, pairing them with some Adidas Superstar sneakers, brow-bar sunglasses, and a bow choker necklace. Since her overalls and accessories were so bold, Olivia wore a simple gray tank top underneath. She also carried a black backpack, a practical choice for a theme park.

Even if you aren’t planning on spending the day at an amusement park, Olivia’s outfit is a fun way to play with denim in an unexpected way. If you’re sick of your basic skinny jeans, this is your outfit.

Cropped black denim overalls are surprisingly versatile – you’ll get more use out of them than you’d think! For Olivia’s laid-back yet trendy look, wear them with a gray tank and white low-top sneakers. With sneakers and a backpack, this look is especially great for a day of walking around campus or the city. 

This look really stands out because of its cool accessories, so opt for a pair of trendy brow-bar sunglasses and a bow front choker necklace. And for a chilly day, simply throw on a slouchy cardigan over top.
