Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Lucy Hale, Mollie King, & Laura Harrier

Celebrity Look 1: Lucy Hale’s Laid-Back Cool
Lucy Hale looked cool in a laid-back look while traveling this past week, though her outfit is awesome for the back-to-school season, too.
Lucy wore a yellow and white striped long sleeve top, making for a fun play on classic black and white stripes. She paired it with some dark wash low rise skinny jeans and some black slip-on sneakers with a print near the toe caps. In addition to her luggage, Lucy carried a black crossbody bag with grommets and studs, and wore a pair of round gold metal-framed glasses.

Lucy’s look is great for a day of classes, running errands, or meeting up with friends. Though you can’t go wrong with a classic B&W striped shirt, take a cue from Lucy and opt for some unexpected color with a yellow and white striped long sleeve top. A top like this will brighten up your look, and pairs well with some dark wash skinny jeans. This pair is low rise like Lucy’s, but high rise denim works, too.
Accessorize with touches of gold metal: round gold metal glasses, black slip-on sneakers with a metallic gold cap toe, and a black crossbody bag with gold detailing. This bag is the ultimate dupe for Lucy’s, with studs on the body and grommets on the strap.
Celebrity Look 2: Mollie King’s Take on Trends
British singer Mollie King looked like she was having fun with her look while out in London.
Mollie donned a burgundy zipper front mini skirt with a gray t-shirt with “Love” printed on the front. She dressed up her look with some suede block heeled sandals and an eye-catching cream colored shag jacket. This fall, textures are trending, so Mollie’s jacket is a playful take on the trend.

Mollie’s ensemble is fashion-forward and fun, with its bold texture, playful graphic print, and color scheme perfect for the fall. Wear her look for a night out on the town and you’ll be sure to turn heads!
Zip-front mini skirts are a hot item in stores right now, and this burgundy hued corduroy mini skirt is a budget-friendly dupe for Mollie’s skirt. Pair it with a gray t-shirt featuring a graphic print on the front; Mollie’s t-shirt is actually by the affordable brand Warehouse, which you can get for yourself using the link above.
Since fall is upon us, I swapped out Mollie’s sandals for a pair of black booties with a fitted, sock-like upper (another big trend this upcoming season). Bring it all together with a white or beige textured jacket for a major pop.
Celebrity Look 3: Laura Harrier’s Vintage-Inspired Chic
Actress Laura Harrier made her entrance to the Venice Film Festival, looking chic in a vintage-inspired ensemble.
Laura dressed up her vintage-looking straight leg jeans with some black Mary Jane buckled pumps and a fuzzy knit cardigan which she wore as a top. She also carried a dainty clutch bag featuring a red and black print to tie in the colors of her outfit (and lipstick!).

To get Laura’s vintage-inspired vibe, opt for a pair of mom jeans or straight-leg jeans with a high rise in a dark blue hue. Wear a white or cream colored cardigan as your top, buttoned up as Laura did; this cardigan’s cropped length will work especially well with high waisted denim, meeting at your waistline.
A pair of black Mary Jane pumps add to the classically chic feel of this ensemble– this pair has a sturdier block heel, making them more wearable compared to stilettos, plus they feature pearl embellishments which are a major fall trend. Complete the look with a black, red, and white polka dot printed clutch bag.
