Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Taylor Hill, Martha Hunt, & Gigi Hadid

Get your model-off-duty style fix from the Victoria’s Secret angels who took over Paris last week.

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Taylor Hill, Martha Hunt, and Gigi Hadid, who were all in Paris to walk in the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Taylor Hill Chic Cold-Weather Look

Model Taylor Hill layered like a pro while in Paris, wearing a chic ensemble perfect for cold weather. It can sometimes be tricky to look fashionable while staying warm, but Taylor made a fashion-forward statement in her knit beige turtleneck sweater, black distressed skinny jeans, and a black chunky, textured outerwear. 

To keep her sweater from overpowering her frame, Taylor wore it tucked into her jeans. She also emphasized her waist with a trendy black and silver studded, Western-inspired belt. She finished her look with simple black ankle boots, which would be great for day or night.

To get Taylor’s ensemble, stick to a classic beige and black color scheme and seek pieces with a bit of edge, like distressed black skinny jeans and a black and silver studded belt with an etched buckle. A beige knit turtleneck sweater is not only chic, but will also keep you warm; try Taylor’s styling trick of tucking it into your jeans so that the trendy belt shows and defines your waistline. 

While any black coat will work here, this chunky pile jacket has a textured look that makes it similar to Taylor’s outerwear. Finish the outfit off with black suede ankle booties.

Look 2: Martha Hunt’s Edgy Meets Flirty

Martha Hunt was headed to the runway rehearsal in an outfit that was equal parts edgy and flirty. Martha wore a black leather mini with zipper detailing and a plain black sweater. She accessorized with a black choker, some ultra dark shades, and a pair of eye-catching, semi-sheer tights featuring a dotted pattern. 

Martha’s extras – her tights in particular – give her look playful, feminine touches to balance out all the dark colors and heavy textures. I love her look for a night out or for any holiday parties you may have coming up.

This faux leather front-zip mini skirt is super similar to Martha’s, and it has a real tough-girl vibe. It’s surprisingly versatile too, since you can wear it any season of the year! For this wintertime look, opt for tights: while standard opaque tights work, try a pair of patterned tights for a playful look. These semi-sheer tights with a dotted pattern won’t break the bank, yet will give you an almost identical look to Martha’s!

Since the bottom half of this ensemble is quite eye-catching, keep the top half simple by wearing a plain black sweater or top and a black choker. Some black ankle booties are the perfect way to pull together the outfit; this patent pair really pops.

Look 3: Gigi Hadid’s Winter Whites

Gigi Hadid took advantage of the fabulous shops in Paris during her down-time off the catwalk, and rocked winter whites like a pro. 

Gigi wore a pair of distressed white boyfriend jeans with a cropped white mock-neck sweater– not an outfit you would necessarily think to put together during the wintertime. However, Gigi gave her look a chic, cold-weather spin by wearing an oversized, long sweater-coat and a pair of black suede ankle boots, also perfect for the season.

Gigi’s outfit makes a major style statement thanks to its non-traditional all-white color scheme. Plus, it’s a perfect balance of casual and chic, with the black ankle boots and long outerwear giving a dressy feel to the laid-back, distressed boyfriend jeans.

A pair of white boyfriend jeans will really pop when worn with a white mock-neck sweater this season, and will also be a staple come summertime. To make this ensemble cold weather-appropriate, wear a long, thick knit cardigan or coat in a neutral hue. Since this outfit is already eye-catching, keep accessories light and complete the look with simple faux suede ankle boots; this pair has a side zipper that adds to their sleek appearance.
