I am so excited that a 1960s-inspired fashion trend, over-the-knee boots, has come back into style this year! Made popular back then by high-end designers such as Balenciaga and Mancini, one can’t help but feel ’60s chic when wearing these boots.
OTK boots tend to be a little pricey, but are definitely a wardrobe staple and a fashion investment worth making. Plus, they make anyone’s legs look amazing!
Over-the-knee boots are a perfect winter shoe choice that you can wear both for class and a night out. Please read on to see some fun outfit ideas on how to style these boots.
Class: Over-the-Knee Boots

Top-River Island, Pants-H&M, Poncho-Wilson Leather, Boots-Nordstrom Rack, Bag-Amazon
The combination of a cozy winter poncho and black suede over-the-knee boots is a great look for when you want to keep warm but still look fashion-forward when walking across campus. I have found that OTK boots look amazing with leather leggings or skinny jeans, and these coated black skinny jeans from H&M are a great way to enhance the look of the outfit.
For the finishing touch, add a brightly colored tote bag to brighten up both your outfit and day!
Night Out: Over-the-Knee Boots

Dress-Boohoo, Boots-Nordstrom Rack, Purse-JCPenney, Choker-Modalist, Nail Polish-Butter London, Earrings-Last Call
This look is totally ’60s inspired! Feel as chic as Twiggy by pairing a space-age metallic silver dress with these over-the-knee boots. Simple glittery studs offset the bold statement choker necklace nicely.
Baby pink pairs well with metallics, so add pink lipstick and a coordinating nail polish that will totally complete your outfit.
