Who or what inspires your style? “My style varies depending on the weather and what my plans are for the day. I like to stay comfortable with what I wear.”
Where do you like to shop? ”American Eagle, Lululemon, Patagonia, Nordstrom Rack, and you can never go wrong at Marshalls. I like Marshalls for the variety, deals, and I never know what I’m going to find there.”
How would you describe your sense of style? “I dress in a lot of athleisure wear because I want to be stylish and comfortable during my busy schedule of classes and hockey.”
Why did you choose this particular outfit? “It’s fun, colorful, and comfortable! The heels don’t hurt my feet because they aren’t too high. This is a fun outfit for a festival or an outdoor concert.”
What fashion advice would you give students looking to improve their style? “Dress for yourself and not for others.”
What are you favorite trends right now? “Jean skirts matched with an off-the-shoulder top. I am also loving the Steve Madden slip-on sneaker trend right now. I even have two pairs; one in black and one in tan.”
Do you have any favorite fashion designers? “Not at the moment. I don’t really follow many fashion designers.”
What do you do for fun? Do you have any unique hobbies or interests? “I try to go to the gym at least five days a week. When I’m at college, I stay busy balancing my class schedule and playing on the women’s ice hockey team. I love going to concerts during the summer… especially country concerts.”
If you could raid anyones closet who would it be and why? “Olivia Culpo, a model and former Miss Universe 2012. She has a very unique and vibrant style that I would love to wear.”
