Monthly Favorites and Wishlist: June 2017
Here’s what I’ve been loving this past month!
June has come and gone, *sigh*, and this will sadly be my last post for College Fashion. I hope you enjoyed reading these posts as much as I enjoyed writing them!
June was a particularly interesting month for me. It was the start of my first ever internship, and I’ve never felt more busy. Let’s just say my days consist mainly of exploring New York City and interacting with lots of people daily.
Because of this, I’ve grown to love a few key items in my closet. And I’ve gotten a good idea of what my closet is lacking. Here are my favorites and wishes for the month of June:
My faves!
Faux Suede Loafers
Walking for hours upon hours in New York City, I put my shoes through a lot. And I’m constantly switching between dressy and casual outfits for different occasions. So comfort is key, but I also need versatile style.
Luckily, these faux suede loafers from Forever 21 take all the hassle out of dressing. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day (even in summer!), and I’m so grateful that they pair so well with the items in my closet.
S’well Bottle
It’s super important for me to stay hydrated when I’m running around on hot summer days. And carrying around a refillable water bottle makes that so much easier! This S’well bottle looks so cute, it motivates me to drink up even more.
Wide Leg Pants
My go-to look this month has just been various ways of styling wide leg pants. They’re just as comfortable as pajamas, yet they’re work-appropriate. These wide leg pants from H&M have kept me cool on hot days and super cozy as well.

Rose Gold Platforms
Summertime is all about expressing your style in fun ways. And personally, I love experimenting with new shoe styles. I’m so in love with platform shoes, especially these Steve Madden sandals! The rose gold color would look great with everything I own.
NARS Eyeshadow palette
This past month, I tried a lot of new makeup looks. But I’m currently searching for an everyday eyeshadow palette. This NARS palette has all of the colors I’m dying to try out, and I’m eager to get my hands on it!
