This collection mixes girly, edgy, and space-age – and it can be replicated for a less astronomical price.

As a fellow Scot, I’ve always had a soft spot for Christopher Kane. His latest Fall 2017 collection features a wide range of different looks and styles. There are some classically girly pieces, for when you want to feel ladylike, edgy pieces for when you want to feel ahead of the trends, and some intergalactic pieces for when you feel like colonizing Mars.

And, most importantly, you can recreate all of this on a budget! Hurrah!

Swooshy midi skirts have become Christopher’s “thing,” and this purple one is particularly gorgeous. I added a top to it (wearing just a jacket is maybe a bit bold for classes) and skipped on the foam inserts on the shoes. Although, if you’re feeling them, I guess a couple of sponges would do the trick.

Pair an asymmetric red skirt with a silk blouse and some red heels and you’ve got this look down! I added the floral embroidered bag to mimic the detail on the skirt.

Sweaters are my favorite item of clothing. I pretty much live in them, and I seriously love the one I included in this look. Pair it with a salmon colored floral skirt, a bucket bag and these shoes and you’re good to go. (Who needs foam inserts when you have good old fashioned straps?)
