All those pretty colors shouldn’t just be on your eyes – channel them in your wardrobe!

So, one morning I was getting ready. I looked down at my trusty Naked palette… and then I just stared at a particular bronze/copper shade for so long I ended up late for class. (I’m really into copper these days – so into it that I just bought a copper alarm clock, ahem.)

It made me think that in a way, it was a kind of a waste that this copper color was only going on my eyes, where only people who paid attention to makeup would even notice it. Which leads me onto this post. I’ve picked out some eyeshadow palettes, and translated them into looks you can wear, so now, you don’t need to spend hours expertly blending Buck with Half Baked. This, paired with my jazzy new alarm clock, means I’ll never be late for class again!

1. NYX Smokey Palette

NYX Smokey Eyeshadow Palette – $7.49 at Ulta

I chose this particular NYX palette because it’s not your typical nude palette. It has that interesting blue shade and a super handy white for highlighting. And the price tag is pretty great, too.

To get a look inspired by the palette, start off with a pair of blue jeans, and add your neutrals from there. These are are staple items that you probably already have in your wardrobe!

Products: Jeans, Boots, T-shirt, Bag, Coat

2. MAC x Brant Brothers 4 Pillars

MAC x Brant Brothers 4 Pillars Palette – $33 at MAC

Ahh, the smokey eye palette. A minimalist necessity. This one is especially simple, sticking to the basics so you’ll never go wrong. Another example of this? A tried and tested neutral color palette, like the one featured in this outfit.

Products: Jeans, Top, Boots, Bag, Jacket

3. Kyshadow Burgundy Palette

Kylie Cosmetics The Burgundy Palette – $42 at Kylie Cosmetics

Love her or hate her, you have to admit that Kylie Jenner’s makeup collection is becoming one of the most popular makeup empires of all time. Her latest eyshadow (sorry, Kyshadow) palette is full of burgundy tones, which lend themselves to the perfect Fall outfit.

Products: Sweater, Skirt, Coat, Bag, Boots

What do you think?

Any palette recommendations for me? Do you like these looks? Which is your favorite? Let’s talk in the comments!
