Sweet and eclectic meets funky and fresh.

Totally different styles – how will they combine?

Happy almost-winter-break, everyone! To celebrate this happy time of year, our latest Weekly Crossover features three looks that are funky, eclectic, and pretty – perfect for holiday party season!

This week, I chose two more stars with disparate styles: The sweet, girly Elle Fanning and the funky, cool Bruno Mars. Mixing their style vibes together, I’ve created three looks featuring light colors, girly details, and a splash of rockstar wonder.

Style Inspiration 1:

Cute and quirky x 24k magic

I can’t stop looking at Elle’s outfit in this picture: I absolutely adore its lovely mix of colors and prints. On the other side, I also love the shiny jacket and confident vibe of Bruno’s look. These two outfits provide so much style inspiration!

Outfit Inspiration 1:

Products: Jacket – H&M, Shoes – Nordstrom Rack, Dress – Urban Outfitters, Necklace – Lord & Taylor, Bag – Macy’s

To combine these two different looks, I found a sparkly pink dress that mixes the pastels of Elle’s outfit with the sparkle of Bruno’s. It’s also great for a holiday party. The cute bag is from Elle’s look (with Bruno’s gold color), while the black pieces are from Bruno’s. Bomber jackets and chokers are so on trend now – they finish this look to fabulous effect.

Style Inspiration 2:

As before, I cannot stop looking at Elle’s look. I love this eclectic Marc Jacobs dress so much – it inspires me to take a risk and be daring with my fashion choices! Bruno’s look is much more to the classic side, featuring a simple suit and loafers, but accented with a funky fedora.

Outfit Inspiration 2:

Products: Jacket – Zara, Dress – Free People, Bow – PopMap, Hat – Nordstrom, Shoes – Steve Madden

This look is very soft with a touch of rock. The blazer is inspired by Bruno, but the soft colors are from Elle’s two looks. I added a hat for a nod to Bruno’s look, but I chose a knit, winter hat in a pastel tone for a bit of Elle. A white lacy dress like this investment-level Free People one is gorgeous in the winter and even more wearable come springtime. Finish the look with rocker heels à la Bruno and a bow accent to reference the bow on Elle’s dress, above.

Outfit Inspiration 3:

Products: Necklace – Boohoo, Bag – Amazon, Dress – Lulu’s, Shoes – Charlotte Russe, Coat – Lulu’s

This look is a combination of all of the outfits. The trench coat is pink (a la Elle’s coat in look 1) and has her buttoned-up feel. This blazer dress is inspired by Bruno and looks great with the gold bag, inspired by Bruno’s golden jacket. The pink choker and heels (you could also substitute boots in this look) are inspired by Bruno’s classic ties and Elle’s girly vibe.
