The style forces of Lana Del Rey and Emma Watson go head-to-head.

On Weekly Crossover, we take a close look at two totally different types of styles, then blend them together to create chic, cohesive outfits.

This week, we’re combining Lana Del Rey‘s cool girl vibes with Emma Watson‘s prim and polished looks. Take a peek at the outfits below to see how these two stylish ladies play off of each other.

Look 1: A Tailored School Day

Products: Jacket, Shirt, Skirt, Bag, Shoes

This look is ideal for impressing fellow classmates/professors, going on interviews, and just looking well-tailored yet stylish.

We borrowed Emma’s white button-up and blazer combo, then added a Lana-esque flouncy skirt and ankle-strap heels. The little bag is perfect because it’s easy to put around your body and it’s not too heavy.

Keep this outfit idea in your bookmarks for the next time you want to look professional while still maintaining a girly vibe.

Look 2: Getting Together With Friends

Products: Headband, Shoes, Pants, Shirt, Necklace

In this look, I took Lana’s lace-look white top, long necklace, and headband to mesh with Emma’s black pants. The flats scream Emma’s style as well, and you could even opt for a pair of oxfords to play up the menswear-inspired look of her outfit.

This getup is a little less formal than the last one, so let your hair loose! To go even more casual and add a rocker vibe, you could swap the blouse with a band tee, since Lana loves to wear them.

Look 3:  Dress + Long Sleeve Shirt

Products: ShirtDressLipstick, Backpack, Boots

In the outfit above, Emma looks like she is wearing a long sleeve shirt underneath her dress (although I could be wrong). You can turn any sundress into fall/winter wear with long sleeves layered underneath a dress. It is so cute and cozy, and also allows you to wear summer pieces long after the season ends.

We tie Lana in with the edgy long boots and studded black bag. I also took inspiration from the lacy dress she wore in the first set of outfits.

Emma and Lana both love to sport a red lip, so make it the finishing touch to this look.

Look 4: Lace + Fun

Products: Tights, Makeup, Backpack, Dress, Boots

Something I’ve found that makes any outfit look very elegant is a pair of lace tights. You have to be careful though, or else the outfit may look like there is too much going on. Pairing it with a solid-colored t-shirt dress and ankle boots looks chic and streamlined.

The makeup is based on the fact that Lana is able to pull off winged eyeliner so well. And I love Emma’s fun and quirky attitude in this photo. In fact, that’s what inspired the Pikachu backpack!

Look 5: Going to Open Mic Night

Products: Shirt, Shoes, Skirt, Bag, Nail Polish

This look is not only inspired by Lana and Emma, but also the hipster/ rock crowd! At school I’m constantly going to Slam Poetry events and Open Mic nights, and this outfit is a perfect example of what to wear.

I was inspired by Emma’s elegant long skirt and Lana’s rocker t-shirt. Sneakers with a skirt?! Oh yes, and it looks totally unconventional, yet cool.

For the finishing touch, sport a red mani; this polish is called “With the Band” — totally fitting, right?

Look 6: Going Downtown

Products: Shirt, Shoes, Jacket, Necklace, Pants

The brightly-colored pants and jacket are inspired by Lana, while the black blouse (which you can tuck into the red pants), ankle-strap heels, and necklace are inspired by Emma. Together, it just works.

Slip on this eclectic-cool outfit and get ready to have fun downtown! The heels aren’t too tall, so they shouldn’t be uncomfortable by the end of the night. Also, make sure to wear eye-catching makeup and style your hair in a fun new way.
