In case you can’t tell, we love booties. We cannot get enough of them. Our favorite footwear style is rapidly becoming popular in a daring fabric choice: velvet. Everywhere we turn, we see chunky-heeled velvet booties. Count us in.

While this trend may be fashion-forward, unfortunately it is not the most practical. A cute pair of velvet booties would not hold up to sleet or a snowstorm. However if the forecast calls for cold temperatures but no winter weather or precipitation, it’s game on for this footwear trend.
