3 Cardigan Outfit Ideas, All Under $100 Total

Fall is finally here, and it’s time to start bringing out the long sleeves. In my opinion, it’s never too early to do a post about one of my favorite clothing items — the cardigan, a super versatile piece that is a must for every closet. 

I love creating different looks with cardigans for fall, and below are three cardigan outfits using the same cozy sweater — all under $100.

Cardigan Outfit 1 – $96.97

Products: Cardigan – H&M, Shirt – Target, Jeans – H&M, Purse – Old Navy, Shoes – Charlotte Russe 

For this comfy-casual cardigan outfit, I styled the cardi with a striped lace-up t-shirt and black skinny jeans. I kept the look simple by adding neutral toned pieces like these gray slip-on sneakers and brown bag. This would be a great outfit idea for a day spent running around campus.

Cardigan Outfit 2 – $84.77

Next, I styled the cardigan with a ribbed dress and accessorized with ballet flats, a layered necklace, and a light pink backpack for a soft, feminine look. This would be a perfect outfit idea for a meeting with an advisor or a casual dinner date.

Finally, I went for a more sophisticated look with this outfit. I took a woven blouse and paired it with high-waisted skinny jeans, then accessorized with pearl drop earrings and embellished loafer mules for a look that is stylish and put-together. Again, this would work for meetings or could even be a good choice for a casual office job.
