Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Olivia Palermo, Jenna Dewan, & Olivia Munn

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Olivia Palermo, Jenna Dewan, and Olivia Munn. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Olivia Palermo’s Casual Chic

Olivia Palermo stepped out for a meal in NYC looking casual yet chic. Olivia wore a pair of distressed, light wash cropped skinny jeans with a white off-the-shoulder blouse, embracing one of the trendiest looks of the season. 

Olivia accessorized with a narrow black scarf, worn almost in the style of a trendy choker necklace, along with a wide black belt and a black leather watch. She gave her ensemble a pop of color with yellow loafer flats, complete with her initials embroidered on them.

Thanks to additions like her scarf and belt, Olivia’s sweet, laid-back look has a slightly edgier feel, making it work for day or nighttime wear.

Olivia’s outfit is the perfect balance between casual and chic, making it versatile for day or night. 

Pair some distressed, cropped skinny jeans with a white off-the-shoulder blouse; the cropped length of the jeans will showcase an eye-catching pair of shoes, and off-the-shoulder tops are a major fashion hit this summer. 

Give the outfit some flair like Olivia did by wearing a wide black belt and a black narrow scarf around your neck. The narrow scarf makes for a unique touch, though you could substitute a wide black choker for a similar look. Complete the outfit with a black leather watch and colorful loafers: though these woven ones don’t have your initials embroidered on them, they do feature a subtle geometric design.

Look 2: Jenna Dewan’s Ladylike Stripes

Actress Jenna Dewan has been killing it with super cute, feminine looks this summer. This week, Jenna was spotted in a feminine off-the-shoulder black and white striped dress with a form fitting top and a flowy bottom going past her knees. 

For a dressy look, Jenna paired her frock with a pair of chunky black platform pumps, a black clutch bag, and a silver collar necklace (plus bold red lipstick!). Jenna’s ensemble is classic and ladylike, but right on trend.

This black and white off-the-shoulder dress is a fab dupe for Jenna’s, just with a shorter length. The black and white striped pattern is a classic look, while the off-the-shoulder cut is super current. Pair it with some black platform wedge sandals rather than closed-toe pumps for a more summery look. These woven wedges have a black ankle strap similar to Jenna’s pumps, but work better with the proportion of this particular dress.

Since this outfit re-creation is youthful and playful, try accessorizing with a pair of black cat-eye sunglasses and add a bit of color with an interwoven clutch in black and red. Give the ensemble a final feminine touch with a silver tone collar necklace.

Look 3: Olivia Munn’s Summery, Laid-Back Look

Screen star Olivia Munn did some grocery shopping in a laid-back, put-together look perfect for summer. Olivia wore a pair of cutoff denim shorts with a woven ivory colored tank top, delicate layered necklaces, blue mirrored sunglasses, a brown crossbody bag, and some strappy brown sandals with a short block heel. 

Olivia’s sandals, sunglasses, and necklaces help her otherwise simple shorts-and-top look transform into a thought-out, trendy outfit great for a hot, sunny day.

Though Olivia wore this outfit to go grocery shopping, I think it would also be great for brunching or lunching with friends. Wear a pair of denim cutoff shorts with a knit or woven tank top in an ivory hue, and add delicate necklaces over top. Accessorize with pieces that accentuate the earth tones of this look, like a brown faux leather crossbody bag and sandals with a short block heel. These particular sandals are super similar to Olivia’s with their three straps, and can be worn day or night. Don’t forget a pop of color – I love these blue mirrored sunnies.
