Class to Night Out: Millennial Pink Pieces

Who says pink is only for Wednesdays?

Today’s Class to Night Out will be a little different than usual: We’re styling a color, rather than a specific piece. This color is taking over our lives, so I thought it only appropriate that it take over this column, too.

Millennial pink isn’t just a shade, it’s a bona fide trend

In case you’re wondering what’s actually considered millennial pink, it can get quite specific. Here at CF, we often liken it to a mix between Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel and the packaging of the skincare brand Glossier

In appreciation for the world’s current favorite shade, I’m going to show you how to style the color trend that isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon.

Channel your inner Regina George in this pink look that goes beyond Wednesdays. The focal point of this outfit is a pair of Millennial pink trousers, paired with a basic white crop top.

We’re going to extend the trend to accessories as well. This backpack keeps you on trend, long after classes have finished. Finish off the look with a pair of sneakers for a touch of athleisure.

Now we’re putting a nighttime spin on our look from earlier: Here, we’ve mixed a millennial pink pencil skirt with a cropped white tee. For contrast, add some hot pink earrings. This breaks up all of the millennial pink without straying too far away.

Rose gold heels are perfect for keeping the look monochromatic without overdoing it. While a clutch would typically be the standout piece of the look, in this ensemble our shoes are truly our statement piece.

Are you rocking millennial pink lately?

If so, how do you like to style it? Or are you sick of the millennial pink craze? Tell me in a comment.
