Fashion Inspiration: J.Crew's November 2016 Style Guide

When it comes to styling outfits, J.Crew reigns supreme. The retailer always nails that “classic with a twist” vibe, and their November Style Guide is no exception.
Since it’s brimming with fresh fashion inspiration that’s perfect for fall, I’ve decided to recreate three of my favorite looks below. Scroll down to check them out:
1. Stripes on Stripes
You probably wear your striped tee often, but have you ever thought of doubling up on the print?
For this outfit, pair your long-sleeved top with a contrasting knit cardigan. Pull on your favorite skinny jeans, then continue the casual-cute vibe with strappy cobalt blue flats. Lastly, mimic the model’s flushed cheeks with a bit of cream-based blush.

2. Stop, Parka Time
Make your little black dress work for daytime by pairing it with a cozy white parka. J.Crew’s version will set you back a cool $450, but the one below rings in at just over $100. Not bad for outerwear you can rock all season long.
If it’s cold enough to wear a parka, you probably won’t want to keep your legs bare, either. So, cover them up with tights before you slip into some comfy cool snake-print loafers. For finishing touches, accessorize with a wine red mani and a few minimalist rose gold rings.

3. Shining Star
Fall is the perfect time to layer up, and J.Crew shows us how to expertly style a button-down blouse under a star-adorned sweater.
For our lower-priced version, we paired the combo with a luxe, autumn-appropriate faux suede skirt. Incorporate a bright pop of color with these lace-up flats, then finish the look with trendy ear jackets.
