Runway Looks for Less: John Galliano Spring 2017
The latest collection is full of soft fabrics and colors – perfect for spring when it (eventually) comes!
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love this time of year (Christmas being the main reason), but being cold 24/7 and wearing at least four layers at all times is only a novelty for about a week. Once I’ve tried all the new festive coffees, I tend to just want winter over with.
I’m looking forward to Spring for numerous reasons – better weather being the top one – and the looks in the newest John Galliano S/S 2017 collection are further fueling my excitement.
The collection is full of neutral colors, delicate fabrics and pretty, floaty silhouettes. It’s super girly, which is not my usual style, but I was surprised by how much I loved it. If you do too, you can get the look on a budget by reading on!

This is one of the more masculine looks in the collection, thanks to these amazing trousers. The silk shirt and camisole add a girly touch. It’s like pajamas but so much better.

Cami tops like this are a huge trend already, and they won’t be going anywhere come the Spring. Wearing one with light colored jeans is a nice change from dark denim, and a good coat is always the best way to finish off an outfit.
